Our Services

Reframe offers professional therapy services in Montreal and across Quebec, both in-person and online. Our team of licensed therapists provides individual counselling, couples therapy, family support, and group sessions for adults facing challenges like trauma, anxiety, relationship issues, grief, and emotional overwhelm. We also offer specialized treatments such as EMDR therapy, psychosocial assessments (including for NIHB and IVAC), and school-based services. Whether you're seeking ongoing psychotherapy or short-term mental health support, we work with you to build a plan that fits.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy at our Westmount location is focused on helping adults better understand their emotional world and respond to life with more clarity and confidence. Whether you're dealing with trauma, anxiety, burnout, or a general sense of disconnection, we tailor each session to what feels most relevant and helpful to you.

Family Therapy

When tension builds within a household—between parents and teens, co-parents, or across generations—it’s often hard to communicate without falling into familiar patterns. In family therapy, we help you recognize these dynamics, strengthen your roles as caregivers, and create space for more effective conversations.

EMDR Therapy

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a structured, evidence-based therapy used to address the lingering effects of trauma, anxiety, or distressing life experiences. Rather than talking about events in detail, EMDR helps the brain reprocess them so they become less emotionally intense.

Couples Therapy

In couples therapy, we work with partners to untangle stuck dynamics and move toward more intentional connection. Sessions are structured to help each person feel understood, while also addressing how the relationship functions as a whole.

Group Therapy

Reframe offers small, closed-format therapy groups for adults seeking support with issues like trauma, emotional regulation, anxiety, and relationships. These groups combine psychoeducation, guided reflection, and peer connection, all facilitated by a licensed therapist. Groups run for a set number of weeks and are designed to foster safety, insight, and shared understanding.

EMDR Intensives

EMDR intensives allow for focused trauma work in longer sessions, typically lasting 5–7 hours. This option is ideal for clients who want to target specific memories, accelerate their progress, or don’t have the flexibility for weekly therapy. Each intensive is adapted to your needs and includes preparation, reprocessing, and integration, all provided by a trained EMDR therapist in Westmount.

Walk and Talk Therapy

Walk and talk therapy blends traditional counselling with movement in an outdoor setting. This can help reduce tension, ease conversation, and support grounding, especially for clients who feel physically restless or anxious. Sessions are conducted in nearby green spaces around Westmount, with a clear therapeutic focus and all the structure of a typical session.

This therapy is especially beneficial for those experiencing social isolation, specific phobias, and new parents.

School Workshops

Our school-based workshops are designed to bring mental health tools into the classroom. Topics include emotional regulation, boundaries, peer relationships, and self-awareness, all tailored to the age group and school context. Workshops are delivered by licensed clinicians and can be adapted for students, teachers, or full staff teams.

Schools and teachers are welcome to contact Reframe to learn more about which workshops we can provide.

Home & School Support

This service bridges therapy with practical, coordinated support at home and in school. We work directly with families and educators to create consistency in emotional and behavioural strategies. Services may include school consultation, caregiver coaching, or joint planning across environments—especially helpful for children struggling with regulation, school avoidance, or social difficulties.
Psychosocial Assessments

We complete psychosocial assessments for clients who need documentation for programs like NIHB (Non-Insured Health Benefits), IVAC (Quebec’s compensation for crime victims), or school accommodation plans. Each assessment includes a clinical interview and a formal written report with diagnostic impressions and treatment recommendations when appropriate. Reports are delivered within professional timelines and meet the standards of relevant systems.
